Responsibilities:
Installers must be able to work with the following products, performing the following techniques:
Carpet (wool and nylon)
a. Carry out complete installations of carpet including tack strips, underlay and carpet
b. Install carpet tiles
c. Be able to install in commercial and domestic environments including difficult situations like stairways etc.
Vinyl (sheet, tiles and planks)
a. Be able to install all types of vinyl in commercial and domestic settings
b. Be able to weld vinyl sheets together with a hot air welder
c. Perform coving to edges of vinyl where required
d. Install vinyl underlay, both synthetic and masonite where required
Timber Flooring (engineered floating floors)
a. Be able to work with solid timber and/or laminate timber flooring
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Very good communication skills
- Experienced and expert in installing Carpet, Vinyl and Floating timbers floor coverings in both domestic and commercial environments.
- Preferably with international experience in a variety of high quality environments (5 star hotels, wealthy residences etc.)
